Linda Bance...

Linda, a nursery nurse and musician, has always worked with families and the under-fives. After giving birth to Emily her first daughter she became aware of the benefits of musical stimulation and began to teach and study in this subject. As a national specialist in the subject she divides her time between teaching, training and consulting and is the education consultant for BBC's CBeebies music programme Zingzillas.

Linda is the author of two successful books Voiceplay OUP and Music for Early Learning Routledge and has recently recorded two community music CDs MumSing and DadSing songs for young children in aid of Home-start.

Locally in Hertfordshire Linda is director of a co-operative Play Music Play (formerly 'Music with Mum' ) classes and along- side four other teachers and works hard promoting good practise with families and music in the early years. Linda is choral director of Royston Young Voices.
